In this Section you have to do any one of the Practical Exercises related to observing children. Choose any exercise out of Exercises 4, 6 and 7 described in the Practical Manual of this Course i.e.. DECE-1 and submit it to the counselor for evaluation.

It would be useful for you if you were to do all the three exercises. This would give you practice in observing children, recording your observations and interpreting them. You can then choose the exercise which you feel you have done the best and submit it for evaluation.

The marking instructions for the exercises are as follows

It would be useful for you if you were to do all the three exercises. This would give you practice in planning and organizing play activities. You can then choose the exercise which you feel you have done the best and submit it for evaluation.

2. You are running a summer camp and have a group of ten preschoolers who are between 4 to 4.5years of age. Describe one activity each that you will plan to facilitate:

(a) cognitive development
(b) physical-motor development
(c) socio-emotional development
(d) facilitate language development

For each activity, mention the material(s) required, if any, and procedure to carry out the activity, For each developmental domain, state the specific aspect of that domain that will be fostered through the activity.

4. बल देखभाल केंद्र की गतिविधियों मे माता-पिता को सम्मिलित करने के लिए, उन तक पहुंचने की किन्हीं दो तरीकों पर चर्चा करें।

5. (क) पाठ्यचर्या की योजना बनाने में शामिल पांच चरणों की सूची बनाइए ।
(ख) दीर्घकालिक और अल्पकालिक लक्ष्य क्या होते हैं?

6. बच्चों में आक्रामकता के किन्हीं तीन कारणों पर चर्चा करें? माता पिता बच्चों को समाजीकृत करने / आक्रामक व्यवहार से निपटने के लिए जिन तीन तरीको का इस्तेमाल कर सकते है, उनका वर्णन कीजिये ।

यदि आप तीनों ही अभ्यास करते हैं तो यह आपके लिए उपयोगी होगा। इससे आपको बच्चों का अवलोकन करने, अपने अवलोकनों को रिकार्ड करने और उनका विश्लेषण करने का अभ्यास होगा। इसके पश्चात् आपको जो अभ्यास सबसे अधिक अच्छा लगे, उसे मूल्यांकन के लिए भेजें।

भाग (क)

सभी प्रश्नों के उत्तर दें।

1. निम्न लिखित प्रत्येक के बारे में लगभग 200 शब्दों में लिखिए

2. आप एक ग्रीष्मकालीन शिविर चला रहे हैं जिसमें चार से साढ़े चार वर्ष की आयु के 10 शालापूर्व बच्चे शामिल हैं। निम्नलिखित प्रत्येक विकास के क्षेत्र को बढ़ावा देने के लिए आप जो एक-एक खेल-क्रिया/गतिविधि आयोजित करेंगे, उसका वर्णन कीजिए :

क) संज्ञानात्मक विकास
ख) शरीर-क्रियात्मक विकास
ग) सामाजिक-भावात्मक विकास
घ) भाषायी विकास

प्रत्येक गतिविधि/ खेल-क्रिया के लिए अपेक्षित सामग्री (ग्रियाँ), यदि कोई हों तो, उसकी विधि. तथा उस गतिविधि से उस विकास के क्षेत्र के जिस विशिष्ट पहलू को बढ़ावा मिलेगा. इन सबका उल्लेख कीजिए।

3. माता-पिता के व्यवहार की विभिन्न शैलियों का वर्णन कीजिए। प्रत्येक शैली बच्चे के व्यक्तित्व पर क्या प्रभाव डालती है, चर्चा कीजिए।

4. क) समेकित बाल विकास सेवा योजना (आई सी.डी.एस.) द्वारा प्रदान की जाने वाली छह सेवाओं को सूचीबद्ध कीजिए। प्रत्येक सेवा के लाभार्थियों का उल्लेख कीजिए।
ख) आई.सी.डी.एस. कार्यक्रम की किन्हीं दो चुनौतियों का संक्षेप में वर्णन कीजिए।

5. मान लीजिए कि आप एक ईसीसीई केंद्र में नियुक्ति हुए हैं और आपको अपनी कक्षा के भीतरी स्थान की व्यवस्था का दायित्व दिया गया है। आप स्थान की व्यवस्था कैसे करेंगे और ऐसा करते समय आप किन बातों को ध्यान में रखेंगे, वर्णन कीजिए। व्यवस्था को दर्शाने के लिए आप फ्लोर चार्ट (Floor Chart) बना सकते हैं।

6. शालापूर्व केंद्र में बच्चों की प्रगति का मूल्यांकन करने के किन्हीं दो तरीकों का वर्णन कीजिए।

7. बाल देखभाल केंद्र की गतिविधियों में माता-पिता को सम्मिलित करने के लिए, उन तक पहुंचने की किन्हीं दो विधियों (तरीकों) का वर्णन कीजिए।
